Job Summary:
This role has a unique opportunity to be responsible for all
aspects of the division’s SharePoint implementation, including
architecture, configuration, governance, operation, maintenance,
and ongoing support. Works with clients to determine needs and
requirements and develop specifications for new and existing
solutions. Provides training on SharePoint usage and basic
administration. Provides direction on governance and overall
collaboration strategy.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the SharePoint 2013 Farm for the division, including
administration, configuration, and maintenance.
Maintain the SharePoint environment, including daily monitoring,
troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the
evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives.
Serve as the lead technical resource for other site owners,
developers, and end users, including creating site collections,
sites, and any objects to support users’ needs and solutions.
Proactively identify areas to improve process efficiency.
Interfaces with customers to determine requirements, resolve
problems, and perform testing.
Analyzes system and program requirements for complex projects.
Identifies multiple solutions to complex problems.
Designs and develops specifications for complex or cross-functional
systems and data structures.
Analyzes and recommends tools.
Plans and completes complex IT projects.
Champions standards, SOX, and best practices.
Demonstrates advanced understanding of software development
and research tools.
Is a resource to others in solving problems and works
independently. Prepares presentations and leads meetings.
Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work
procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable
attendance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or
technically related field, or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 5 years work experience. 3-5 years’ experience working
with the SharePoint platform (with recent experience using
SharePoint 2013) in an administrative capacity.
Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL
Server, Workflow, and SharePoint Designer.
Experience creating and maintaining SQL server.
Strong understanding of MS SharePoint Architecture.
