  • General job duties include obtaining an extensive obstetrical, medical, surgical, and family history of patients.
  • Complete a focused obstetrical assessment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with sonographers and providers.
  • Perform blood draws and injections.
  • Provide education and resources.
    • Job Requirements
    • IL Nursing license
    • BLS certification
    • EFM (external fetal monitoring) Training
    • Minimum of 2 years obstetric experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • 5 eight hour shifts/week, beginning at 0730 or 0800.
      • Weekend/holiday rotation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2-3 weeks orientation program.
